The Knowledge Hub Pty Ltd, trading as Leading Edge Education Training and Research Brokers, was established to support skills development in Australian industry as a response to increasing pressures from rapid technological changes and increased global competitiveness.
The mission of The Knowledge Hub is to initiate and demonstrate collaboration and actions aimed at achieving joint prosperity for all Australians through creative and innovative approaches to:
- establishing and maintaining effective cross-sectoral partnerships in the fields of education, training and research in Australia and across the globe
- accelerating commercialisation of innovative ideas through effective knowledge management
- developing and retaining vocational skills in Australia through accessing just-in-time best practice education and training programs from around the world
- identifying and responding to industry and community needs through intelligence gathering and market trends analysis
- disseminating and consulting the above finding with Australia's industry and educational institutions
- advancing the full and equitable participation of all Australians through the provision of seamless engineering education
- enhancing Australia's human capital in the fields of engineering for wealth creation technological growth in the competitive global economies

In order to maintain and develop further Australia's global competitiveness and industrial leadership, The Knowledge Hub aims to be a respected leader in educational services brokerage with a focus on:

- choices for learning harnessing work activities and addressing the learning needs of a mature adult learner
- agile educational programs responsive to industry and individual learner's needs
- access to and achievement in engineering education and training for all Australians

The Knowledge Hub will achieve its mission and vision through collaboration and consultations with government departments and professional agencies, unions, industry, post secondary vocational and higher educational institution, non-for-profit organizations and Australia's communities.
